If you are lucky enough to be invited or included in a knitting group, I highly recommend it.  Sometimes we all get into a funk with family drama, work stress, down for some reason or other.  For me it was moving in the heat of summer.  It totally threw my knitting off.

So, I run into my friend Ann at Starbucks and she asks me if I’m going to knitting tonight.  I say YEAH!  Took an old project that was simple and I had a great time.  I love all my projects, even the old ones.

Debbie was there, and she was knitting these adorable little wee socks called Cozy Little Toes by Judy Kaethler, using the String Theory Colorworks Sock Yarn.  This pattern is a free Ravelry download.

WP_20140827_002Julianne, was also there knitting the Sundry shawl by Jennifer Dassau The Knitting Vortex, the same one that Libbie is knitting.  Hers was done and ready for everyone to see.  I just loved it, and can’t wait to see Libbie’s.  Julie, used Fancy Image Fingering weight yarn in two different colors.

If you don’t know of a knitting group, start one!
