Debbie, a member of our Ravelry group, and also somewhat local to us here at America’s Knitting, knit this adorable Tiny Lumberjack hat, designed by Fiona Alice! the yarn that Debbie used is Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Sport. It seems like we are always looking for hats for baby, and toddlers. I also love how you are seeing people wearing more hats in general, not just when it’s freezing outside or when they go to the snow. Debbie purchased her yarn at Cabled Fiber Studio LLC. Thank you Debbie for letting us share your wee hat! Tiny Lumberjack is a paid pattern over on Ravelry~
Here is a picture of my Baa-ble Hat by Donna Smith. This was the free hat pattern for Shetland Wool Week from 2015. It’s my dream to actually go to Shetland Wool Week at some point. This was a really fun and fast knit! I simply used various worsteds from my stash. I think the sheep are adorable and I would definitely knit this again!
Hat’s are so popular, and HELLO it’s Winter, and baby it’s cold outside!!
Sherri over at Rainy Day Yarns in Gig Harbor, Washington is a prolific knitters. Seriously, she gets so much done, I’m always in envy of her work. This hat is not just a hat to keep warm…one you throw on because you are having a bad hair day, or you are so lazy, throwing a hat on ‘is’ you doing your hair that day. This hat has style! This hat is going to say to people, look at her, she always looks so nice…love her!
Here are all the deets: Nollie Hat by Monika Sirna; yarn: Malabrigo Yarn Mecha #33 Cereza, which is a bulky weight yarn, so this hat knits up FAST; knit by Sherri, Rainy Day Yarns, Gig Harbor, Washington. It’s a pattern for purchase over on Ravelry.
So to quote the “Plucky Knitter” — ‘when in doubt, knit a hat’!
