There’s a new yarn shop in my area!  They call themselves Heart2Heart Knitting and Fiber Arts, and they are located in Poulsbo, Washington.  Lisa Michael, owner, has experience in the art of yarn dying.  First came knitting, then came yarn dying, and now she has her own store, complete with traditional brands such as Plymouth, Berroco, Malabrigo, Blue Sky Fibers, Hikoo and Schoppel, along with her hand dyed yarns.

Like all businesses, they start out slow.  They get a layout down, inventory in, someone to help with teaching, and some new furniture.  Then, they are off to the races….and the day I was there to check out the business, they were a good month in and Lisa said business was good and she and the store had been well received.

That is music to my ears.  You want business to be good, and now the holidays are here, and I’m sure she will be busy through to the new year.  The shop is small, but not too small.  It has a coziness about it, and it’s charming.  They are in a good location right on Highway 305 with plenty of free parking.  Owner Lisa is upbeat and energetic with a want to please her customers and grow her business.

Good luck to new business Heart2Heart.  Follow Heart2Heart on Facebook and Instagram!!
