The garment of the knitted hat is a very popular project.  Hat’s go quick and there are tons of patterns to choose from in every weight of yarn.  You’ve got your beanies and slouch hats, those are the most popular; and you’ve got your tams and berets.  But there’s also the felted hat.  This hat has style and is very different.  I like it!!  Melanie Drescher knit this hat, and tried her hand at felting.  The pattern was  Felt Hat AC1 by Bev Galeskas (God rest her soul).  The yarn Melanie used is Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Worsted and also Rowan Kid Silk Haze.  Melanie is a member of our Ravelry group and her LYS is The Black Sheep Yarn Boutique.  Thank you Melanie for sharing your work!
