DianaDiana Cripe is our official ‘Roving Reporter’!  I met Diana at an annual retreat we both used to attend every November.  She was from my husbands home town.  Because we live in the same county (but different towns) we are often at the same functions.  She and her husband do more traveling than we do….so she gets around more.  She’s also better at getting around our own region of western Washington.  She took a trip up to Mount Vernon, Washington, and visited Wild Fibers.  Here was the note that Diana sent to me:WF1

Hi Mary, I have been meaning to tell you about this shop for a while.  The shop is Wild Fibers in Mt. Vernon.

The shop is beautiful, well lit and has a lot of great yarns.  The owner was very  prompt in addressing me and was very helpful.  I bought 2 patterns that were on Ravelry and she took care of getting them for me and put each one in a protector sheet.  She was very nice and if I lived near there I would go a lot!  I bought a ball of Berroco Boboli Lace in a pink color way that I love.WF2

If you need more of a description, let me know.  I was not in there too long as we had other things to do.

Diana

WF4Thank you Diana!!  I’ve been meaning to get up there too!  The main draw for me is that they carry Hazel Knits yarn, a local Indie Dyer that I LOVE!  Even with that, I haven’t made it there.  Until I can get there, your pictures are awesome~

If you want to be a ‘Roving Reporter’ in your area, please email me and let me know!WF3
