I have a group of knitters that I meet up with on Wednesday nights.  They are the nicest ladies and all really good serious knitters.  I have two separate projects to share.  The first one is from Debbie.  She is a ferocious knitter that knits sweaters and wears them.  She’s amazing.  Here is her Hitofude Cardigan by Hiroko Fukatsu using Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh.  The color used for this project is Dust Bowl.  Patrece, another one of our weekly knitters is modeling the cardigan.  I just love the drape  of this cardigan – seems right on trend.  The pattern is available on Ravelry.  Thank you Debbie & Patrece~

Next up is Wendy, a gal that knits it all, shawls, sweaters, vests, scarves, socks — you get what I’m saying.  She is well traveled and loves to pick up yarn wherever she goes.  Here is her Simple Shibori Cowl by Gina Wilde.  Wendy used the yarns called for in the project which were Alchemy Yarns of Transformation Silken Straw and Alchemy yarns of Transformation Sanctuary.  Her colors chosen were Four Strong Winds and Dusk.  The Silken Straw is made of silk and the Sanctuary is actually felted in the finishing process.  It’s so delicate and also found on Ravelry.  Thanks Wendy~
