Hooray for the Red, White & Blue
Friend from facebook Jeanne in Texas, submitted this lovely patriotic shell. This months theme as you may have guessed is 'Hooray for the Red, White & Blue'. Now Jeanne here, has all three colors in one garment.....as not to box us in, your entry could be red, or white, or blue. It doesn't have to contain all three.
I just thought we'd try to honor the flag and it's color. I'd love to see what you are working on, and I hope you are successful at finishing something up this month. I have a slight case of startitise, but what's new.
Just email over your entry and I will post it right here for you. Have a fun, safe and memorable 4th!!
This entry is from Halcyon Yarn in Bath Maine. They are celebrating their Ruby Anniversary this year, and have been having fun all year along the way. Here is the Peruby Waves Throw by Beth Emery along with Team Halcyon. The yarn they used for this creation was Peru. the pattern sells for $4.95 or is free with purchase of the yarn. I think this would make an excellent baby blanket as well - Peru is washable! Thank you Halcyon Yarn for this wonderful entry! AND, Happy Anniversary, I hope you are in business for another 40 years!!
