Talk about your small world. Sherry is from Wasilla, Alaska, and the socks you are looking at are from a pattern called Cotty by Irishgirlieknits. But, the yarn, is Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Mediumweight in Carbon Dating. The pattern is a Ravelry download, and Sherry bought her yarn at my LYS on Bainbridge Island, Churchmouse Yarns & Teas, when she was traveling and visiting her Dad. Thanks Sherry for sharing your work, and if you ever find yourself on Bainbridge Island again give me a heads up and we'll meet up at the yarn shop.

First up is Cheryl from Anchorage Alaska! These hats were a group effort and I'm crazy about them - what fun! Working against a deadline, my oldest daughter finished knitting this hat while I tacked up its hem. We then handed it off to my middle daughter’s fiance to add the EL wiring, while the rest of us changed into our ski clothes. The kids we coach in the Anchorage Junior Nordic League were amazed by the three matching, glowing hats," says Cheryl. I can just see folks on the slopes with these hats. Great work Cheryl & Co. The yarn used here is from Cascade Yarns, 220 Wool. The yarn was purchased at The Yarn Branch, also in Anchorage, Alaska.
